We are planning a social for the club to be held on August 19^th from 6 pm until 9 pm at the home of Mike and Caryl Deems in Byron. Yes, that's the evening following the Jim Herrin Memorial Stampede. We'll be ready to celebrate a successful race!!!

There's a swimming pool, so feel free to come prepared to swim.

The club will be providing the main course, "special recipe smoked/grilled chicken". Each member should bring a side dish of your choice (salad or dessert, etc). BYOB, if you want some other beverage besides tea or soft drinks.

Directions: From I75 North or South, exit on Exit #149, Highway 49. Travel west towards Ft. Valley to the first red light. Turn right on Highway 42. Travel over railroad tracks, following Highway 42 to the left until the road forks. Take the right fork. (This is still Highway 42) Travel approximately 2 miles. The house is on the left side back off of the road. There is a wooden fence in front with horses. 1591 Highway 42
