Men’s 100m
The men’s 100m final was a highly anticipated event, and it did not disappoint. Noah Lyles of the USA clinched the gold medal with a blistering time, reaffirming his status as one of the fastest men on the planet. He was followed by Kishane Thompson from Jamaica, who took silver, and Fred Kerley from the USA, who secured the bronze.
Women’s 100m
In the women’s 100m, Sha’Carri Richardson of the USA emerged victorious, showcasing her incredible speed and determination. She was closely followed by Elaine Thompson-Herah of Jamaica, who took silver, and Dina Asher-Smith from Great Britain, who earned the bronze.
Men’s 200m
The men’s 200m saw Letsile Tebogo from Botswana take the gold, with Kenny Bednarek from the USA winning silver, and Noah Lyles adding a bronze to his collection.

Marileidy Paulino from the Dominican Republic set a new Olympic record to win gold in the women’s 400m. Shaunae Miller-Uibo from the Bahamas took silver, and Sada Williams from Barbados earned the bronze.

The men’s 800m saw Emmanuel Wanyonyi from Kenya take the gold, with Marco Arop from Canada winning silver, and Djamel Sedjati from Algeria securing bronze.
Women’s 800m
In the women’s 800m, Athing Mu from the USA continued her dominance by winning gold. Keely Hodgkinson from Great Britain took silver, and Mary Moraa from Kenya earned bronze.
Men’s 1500m
The men’s 1500m was a thrilling race with Cole Hocker from the USA taking gold, followed by Josh Kerr from Great Britain with silver, and Jakob Ingebrigtsen from Norway earning bronze.
Women’s 1500m
Faith Kipyegon from Kenya set a new Olympic record to win gold in the women’s 1500m. Laura Muir from Great Britain took silver, and Gudaf Tsegay from Ethiopia earned bronze.
Marathon
