Next Pacer Meeting

Our next meeting will be held on Tuesday, September 4^th at 7:00 PM at the Houston Health Pavilion on Watson Blvd.

The Pacers have been asked to help with the 2001 Georgia Golden Olympics which are being held on Robins Air Force Base September 12-15. Scheduled events include softball, archery, billiards, track events, horseshoes, swimming, basketball, road races and walks, cycling, football throw, frisbee throw, golf and much more. The folks putting this on need volunteers to help marshal courses and generally do whatever they can to help out. Events begin Wednesday and Thursday at 8:30 AM and go through about 5:00 PM. Friday begins at 7:30 AM and goes through 6:00 PM. Saturday (when they need the most help) begins at 7:30 AM and goes through about 2:30 PM. The road races and cycling events are scheduled for Saturday morning. They could use our expertise the most then.
